Seems a Texan truck driver with a load of bath fixtures, had a vehicle 13 feet and six inches tall. The Lincoln tunnel is at a maximum 13 feet tall. NYC has a system that checks the vehicle height and sets off all kinds of automated lights, sirens and such. Including a cop yelling over the loudspeaker, "Hey, you big dummy, you're rig is too tall for that tunnel!". He claimed to be confused and drove the entire length before stopping. It ripped off hundreds of ceiling tiles as well as the roof of the rig. Think he's still employed today?
