I enjoyed the company of you and Bill and the leisurely food/rest stops. I felt like I was getting impatient to get home during the last 30-40 miles, but Bill is right that the night-riding was actually really nice. I'm glad I didn't find a motel in Hastings.Jim Thillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18343496548505700507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8254706.post-34456514778789609422007-07-04T08:30:00.000-05:002007-07-04T08:30:00.000-05:00Seriously Gordy, didn't you ride farther the time ...Seriously Gordy, didn't you ride farther the time you came down for BOBFest Midwest 2 back in 2002? I mean, you rode from the Cities to Madison, and then rode around in the Driftless Area with us. I can't remember now, did you ride home from that too?Michael Lembergerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17749139439039241349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8254706.post-74277118602863093902007-07-04T00:31:00.000-05:002007-07-04T00:31:00.000-05:00Well, if we'd been any faster, we would have misse...Well, if we'd been any faster, we would have missed the glorious night riding, and that was one of my
favorite parts of the ride. So there.

I was glad to have you along, there was never a question but that we all would finish together. For the record though, i think Jim mentioned crashing at a hotel more often than you did while we were in Hastings :-)Bill Connellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07527677883997096699noreply@blogger.com
